Hard Rock Hotel Help

I called the hotel asking for a basic room for the week of dec. 26th-1st and they said they only have one available for a 5 or 7 night stay. THere must be some way around this I hope.

Sorry a little more info for you all...This is Universal Studios Hard Rock Hotel...and I tried checking with the hotel by calling them/priceline.com/all those places and I can't just imagine that there basic rooms would all be booked 6 months before were planning to stay there....Help from you guys would definitely be appreciated :)

Kyle, believe it. You're talking about the busiest week of the year. Of course Hard Rock Hotel is going to be booked if you require one room for a long stretch.

Try Royal Pacific (a bit cheaper) or Portofino (a bit more) or try to break up your stay in two (half at HRH and the other half somewhere else). The possibilities will open up.

The week between Christmas and New Years, that's the one week a year I *refuse* to go to ANY of my parks.Spring Break is bad, but that week is NUTS! They're open, sure, but you MIGHT just get to see a Disney park close its gates due to capacity. Now there's a real "treat"... ;)

Well, he'll be in the clear at Hard Rock because he'll be able to use his room key to get to the front of the line at both of the Universal parks. Again, one of the many reasons why the Uni resorts get booked solid that week.

The rub will be the crowds in the food concession lines.

^ Very true. I had forgotten to take into account the fact that us "regular off-site peeps" no longer can collect those Universal Express thingys...they were cool while they lasted.

YES MY ROOM KEY IS AMAZING! lol...Anyway....last year we stayed at the Royal Pacific but I definitely love the Hard Rock more...and Portofino might be nice to try...I guess I will just have to consult a travel agent and see what she can get me...on Delta Airlines they have the room but we think it might be a little pricier I'm not sure..oh well we'll see what happens.
