I heard that some manfacturers wanted to build a coaster that gave you the experience of hang gliding. Is this X, or just flying coasters like x flight and air? or is this something new like B&M's new project
I'm guessing the B&M/Vekoma/Volare flyers. :)

Soarin' over California is a Hangliding simulator.
I guess a Zamperla Volare gives you an experience pretty close to hang gliding. A B&M flying certainly does not, and I doubt a Vekoma Flying Dutchman comes close.

Are you referring to the fly-by-wire?? I think vekoma makes it.

Fly-By-Wire is its own company, not Vekoma. Take a look: http://www.flybywire.co.nz/index2.htm . I wouldn't expect it's a very good handgliding simulator, though.

They do. S:UF and X-Flight/Batwing feel like really insane hang gliding.

...And the Zamperla feels like anything but hang gliding. ------------- Vekoma!
Yeah, that feels like getting punched in the throat by a pro-boxer. (I never new throat-banging existed before that coaster!)
