Maybe im not understanding your post, but according to their calendar it doesnt start till last weekend of September for preview and October for official.

You can buy tickets now, but I personally dont find that unusual.

But as I said, maybe im misunderstanding the title and point of this post.

KI & Dorney have had the hearses out for a few weeks.

Disney starts there Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Parties September 4th. So if anything they are in line or late starting.

I have never been to a Haunt or MNSSHP, but we will be doing both this year.

Before you can be older and wiser you first have to be young and stupid.

Universal is also late September. Seems Disney is the only one starting that early.

(referencing FL parks only of course)

I think what Chitown is saying is that they are starting their promotions early. This Howl-O-Scream site was talked about on another coaster site last month. Very cool fashion show possibly vampire story line. I wish I could get down there this season...

^That's what I meant.

I didn't see the Raven twins on there. I wonder if they dropped them this year.

Why wouldn't you start plugging your fall events now? High school football has started. We're almost there.

Heck, Busch has been promoting Christmas Town this whole year, and has already started selling tickets.

For events that people need to travel to, it would be suicide to promote at the last minute.
