Following the death of a groundskeeper, who was struck in the head by a testing roller coaster while working under it, Lake Compounce has implemented a lockout system for the workers when they work around the ride. The ride can not operate until the worker returns and unlocks the ride.

The sad thing is, sometimes it takes a tragedy for something to be implemented. This goes on everywhere.
