Groundskeepers can now lockout rides at Lake Compounce

Following the death of a groundskeeper, who was struck in the head by a testing roller coaster while working under it, Lake Compounce has implemented a lockout system for the workers when they work around the ride. The ride can not operate until the worker returns and unlocks the ride.

That has to be one of the dumbest statements I have heard in a long time.
