Ground Clearing at SFEG!!!

Are there any plans to replace the Spider sometime in the future with a new ride? I sure hope so. 

I do have questions about it being a city project because of the fact that the city has been working on the bridge right next to that location. But what they could be using it for is a question left to be answered. The Spider was a great ride, I remember when it was on top of the bumper cars at the old location and was one of the most thrilling rides at Elitch's. Its sad to see it go. On the topic of the possible coaster, I wouldn't anticipate anything happening. These rumors of a large coaster for the park have been circulating for some time now. I'd wait until its officially announced.

The only thing I ever hated about the Spider is it takes so long to load people on and get them off, but that is with any Spider, not just the one at Elitches. 

Sure SFGA2001, SFEG may not be a priority, but, there haven't been too many other Six Flag announcements or construction pics seen, so maybe there is something good going in there. I hope they do get something good.

If it's a portable/small coaster then it could be started later.

It could open up later in the season, where this coaster is supposedly gonna be, it would  be easy to do construction during the season without putting any guests in danger. 

If it is Volare, construction should start soon (vertical, sinc it does not require concrete footings).
