Going to Great Escapenext weekend, any tips? I already checked RCDB, most of the coasters look ok, any I should definetly (sp?) hit? Also, what are the lines like for this time of the year?

When I was there in 2000 they closed the waterpark area earlier than the rest of the park. Unfortunately I didn't know until after that area was alredy closed. Thats the area where the Comet and Alpine Bobsled is so get all your rides in on them early in case they still close early.

Nightmare @ Crackaxle Canyon had the longest wait. It may be a good idea to hit that first so you aren't stuck waiting an hour for a Jet Star.

I don't know about the Butterfly Fries

But I do know that the park completely emptys out at roughly 6:00pm. At that time run to the comet for 1 or 2 train wait times OR LESS ( as I found as i walked on most times). I was able to get in a total of 20+ coaster rides in about 6 hrs time. Now that was on a weekday...I don't know how much longer the lines are on weekends

As for rides to Hit The comet should be your highest priority because it is the best ride in the park. Defanetly sit in the back seat because it provides a ton of airtime.
