Great Escape-Guess whos back?

Went to the Great Escape on Saturday, May 24. I was pleasantly surprised to see Rainbow is back and looking very nice. Canyon Blaster is not done yet but it looks great. I am very happy with the park! It actually is great to know that finally they are making the park a lot better!

Yeah my homepark is in Albany, NY but I always have 12 hours to go to The Point!

As I understand it, the Blaster will be done around the end of June...I'll be planning a trip there as soon as it opens.

I'm actually looking forward to it, too. The last time I had been there, they had just opened the Comet the year before so I haven't ridden the other newer attractions that have made their home, there. I HAVE, however, ridden the Nightmare at Crackaxle Canyon when it was the Nightmare at Phantom Cave in Darien Lake. It's too long, though, since I've been to Lake George.

Man, do I have a long way to go...75 parks in under 5 months...I must be insane!!!

i asked one of the security guys when it was supposed to be done and he said somtime in june.....i'm not to excited about this ride seeing that it's only 56feet high and 45mph. Great escape needs some new thrill rides, they can still be a family park too but they should build some thrilling rides for the higher tolerance riders.
