Last time I had been to Lake George was about 20 years ago. Is it still one of the cleanest fresh water lakes in the US?

How do we know that Great Escape isn't getting a new ride this year? Has anyone been by the park and seen what's going on? By the looks of the website it looks like Great Escape is saying Skycoaster is the new ride for 2002. I hope that we get at least a thrill ride! I love the park and plan to work there this summer and it would be awesome to have a new ride.

Most parks, if not all... have already announced their plans for the 2002 season.

It's almost a little late in the season for The Great Escape to be announcing what will be new for 2002. All that I see new on their web site is yet another stupid show that they do NOT need!
I guess the very very best that we can expect is just a couple new flat rides... and even with that, they won't be anything to write home about.

If The Great Escape was to get a facelift, drop tower, coaster, among other things... the announcement would have been made awhile ago either in the Times Union paper (online or print), or made available on their web site.

I have the feeling we have been boned once again... unless there is a surprise planned... but hasn't anyone been up around that area? It's not like it's truly out of the way.

CalvinJ23... Parks have this perception that people are retarded, and if an attraction opened late in the season, they think they can pull it off as a  "new for 2002" attraction.

If The Great Escape does it, it definately won't be the first park to do this.
