I found a site with some great epcot concept art.

http://disneyandmoreartwork.blogspot.com/2009/07/epcot-25th-anniversary-special.html

There are pictures of the lands that never made it into epcot like russia, swiss, and africa pavilions.

The russia pavilion looks great. Maybe someday they can get it built.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Today, Screamscape has a link to Disney California Adventure concept art (same site, I think).

Did you know: the Japan pavilion was originally to include a "Mount Fuji" roller coaster? The entrance was to be through the large gates at the back of the land, across the bridge (there's a toy store back there). The pavilion's sponsor, Kodak, however - did not want the name "Fuji" on anything they were associated with. :)

Partially true, originally it was going to be our version of Meet the World (Japanese history meets CoP), then as phase 2 fell through, it was abandoned (the structure for it is still there if i'm not mistaken.) Fiji was a possible add-on to the pavilion during the "Disney Decade", which also fell apart after the Euro-Disney debacle.

Oh, and Kodak doesn't sponsor the Japan pavilion (it's an American company for crying out loud!), but does sponsor Journey into Imagination, which could be the origin of the name conflict story.

It does not mention it, but in germany, there was supposed to be a rhine river boat ride. the building for the ride was built, but nothing more than that.

I love the world showcase, but I do think it is missing another country(or 2) and maybe a few more attractions. The area between france and america has no attractions like shows or rides.
