It was a beautiful sunny day in GA. I spent the 2nd day of SFOG's 2004 season at the park. I was able to process my season pass and ride all open coasters in two hours. There was almost no one in the park. GA Scorcher and Batman both have newly painted cars and retraints. GA Cyclone also looked freshly painted. I was very impressed w/ how smooth the Cyclone was this year. The park employees were even friendly. After having winter coaster w/drawals, it was a great way to start the year.
Steve - SFOG has gotten off to a great start! New paint on GASM and Cyclone, construction all over, and no crowds! Too bad Mindbender keeps getting stuck on the brakes and Deja Vu wasn't open. Oh well, it still beats 2 years ago when there were cheerleaders everywhere and none of the rides were open.
BTW, nice profile pic. Love the girl on her cell phone sitting behind you.

Has SFOG always opened this early in the season or is this new?
By the way, I am jealous. :)
My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.
This is new Chitown. I guess none of the new attractions will open until later this Spring and the kiddie coaster is slated for a summer opening. I'm glad you had a good day at one of my favorite SF parks and I like the early opening idea.
