Disneyland's Space Mountain (I think its under 70) is cool. No real drops, the real fun is in the lateral G's and the darkness. Plus it has a cool soundtrack. :)
Jaguar at Knotts is cool, it works well because everyone in the family can ride it and get something out of it, at least the nice views of Reflection Lake and Fiesta Village.

Racer PKI
I like The Wild Mouse at Hersheypark(best wild mouse ride I have been on,) and The Thunderhawk at Dorney Park. A great woodie with a 65ft drop and 2,767ft in length. I think its better than Hercules.

Coaster Thrill Ride-the generic name belies the fact that this is pure delight.

Coming Soon-The Battle near Seattle!!!!
Under 70 feet. It's funny, I was talking with my father-in-law a couple of weeks ago, and he was looking at my photo albums and kept asking how high and stuff. I told him that anything over 40 or so feet was high enough, and that anything 65-318 feet was tall:).
I think that what makes coasters under 70 ft. tall so good is that you can ENJOY them. They're not mean to terrify you, they were just made to be fun!

Actually no one has said yet, mine would be the Cannonball at Lake Winnepesaukah, a John Allen Classic.

I took some nice pictures of this out & back for everyone who is not familiar.

Treetop Racer at Adventure City a couple miles south of Knotts Berry Farm. A great mouse ride with proper one or two passenger seating.

Tremors, my 100th coaster.
Ghostrider, stopped counting laps at 100.
All the rides at AT are below tree height so I guess they qualify!

"'cos you know, it's strange! You stand in a library and go "AAAAARRRRGGGHHHH" and everyone just kinda stares at you, but if you do the same thing on a aeroplane everyone joins in!"
Screamin Eagle at SFstl. John Allen's last woodie.

Oh wait. its not under 70 ft. I could of swore it was. Sorry. Well since it isn't, i would say Blue Streak. *** This post was edited by Flippin_Will on 7/18/2001. ***

Definitely Coaster Thrill Ride in Puyallup WA.
It is a 1935 Miller ACE Classic and it is only 55 feet tall. It seems twice that, and it gets some good speed on the 3RD HILL. It has a killer 3rd drop that twists to the right, mega airtime, and it ends with magnificent head choppers. I am pretty partial to this ride as it was my first but I have yet to get out East and ride the other coasters mentioned above.

By the way, I rode the Steel Dragon 2000 in Nagashima Spaland day before yesterday, and it was wonderful, but it will never be able to provide the basics by its very nature. It is a THRILL ride in the truest sense, but it lacks substance. It is all height, speed, and adreneline, but it needs what it can never have...PERSONALITY. Thank God for CCI..they continue to build coasters that take little space, keep budgets down, and will thrill riders with unique elements that make every coaster its own.
