Great America's Deja Vu starts to show signs of life

Well it looks like Chicago residents may get a taste of Deja Vu sometime before the end of the year. This SFGAm site captured pictures of it during its long postponed testing.

Show me the photos!

Company buyouts usually have attendance similar to a summer weekday.  They vary, however, due to the size of the company and how many people actually show up.  My advice is to get there at the BEGINNING of the buyout as many of the employees do not show up right when it starts.  You could probably go without lines for the first 45mins/hour.

And yes you can use your season pass on those dates...its a great big secret :-)))

Does anyone know if Six Flags Great America is open at then end of October I will be going to Cedar Point 2nd to the last weekend I may stop on the way back since its on the way to Minnesota?

Great America is open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in October, with the exception of the Friday the 5th which is a buyout...but they are open Monday the 8th that same weekend.  The final day of operation is Sunday the 28th.
Ya i saw it test last night.  They were testing the whole ride but they were setting the brakes in the loop.  It runs very slowly through the cobra roll.  Twoards the middle of the evening it got stuck in the area between the 2nd lift and the loop.  For all I know it's still there
Ok, i have a question, now that they are letting in pass holders to this weekends company buyouts, are they going to let us in oct 5, and future buyouts? Or is this a one time deal, due to the changed scheduale?

I got in today at the ComEd Employee Appreciation Day with my season pass! Beautiful!

V2 and Demon were down all day, and Deja Vu was testing.  About 30-40 people were huddled around the entrance to watch the testing and hope for a soft opening.  I saw about 8 trial runs.  On one occasion it got stuck on the way up the first lift hill, but other than that it ran very nicely.  This should be a fun ride.
