Parks: Big Chief, Six Flags Great America, Six Flags St. Louis, Adventureland.
This is my 3rd visit to Six Flags Great America. I usualy tend or try to make it out there if I can. I usualy only go maybe about 1 time a year because it's expenssive there. Let's see I stayed at the Baymont Inn right near Great America real close. For a one night stay was about $95.00 not to mention $10.00 parking jeepers, $39.99 admission that's about $150.00 right there. Why is Gurnee so pricy?
I left Big Chief around 3am because it's only or close to a 3hr drive. Checked in at Baymont Inn which I stay there everytime I go and got to Great America around 10am.
The first thing we did my friends and I was headed towards V2 Vertical Velocity knowing it may have its usual breakdowns but it was open and followed by Deja Vu.
V2: Vertical Velocity 9/10 Love this ride. My favorite part about the ride is the launch very cool ;). 5laps
Deja Vu: 8/10 In my opion just another giant boomerang but this one is a just a little different from the other boomerangs I have been on. Oh yes, Deja Vu was open :)! 4laps.
Whizzer: 5/10 I ride this so many times. Just a great ride. Long live the Whizzer. 4laps.
Shockwave: 6/10 4laps. Still one of my favorites.
Demon: 5/10 Just your typical Arrow corkscrew type of coaster. 3laps.
Viper: 10/10 This is one of my favorite wooden coaster. Not sure yet if it will be my #1 woodie. After riding Legend & Raven, Zeus & Cyclops, Shivering Timbers, Cornball & Hoosier Hurricane. After riding all of those great woodies I realy dont have a #1 wooden coaster yet. Very smooth ride and fast. 6laps.
American Eagle: 8/10 I still love this ride. I did ride backwards little different this time. I just have one question. Why is the que line for American Eagle realy loooong? 5laps.
Iron Wolf: 7/10 Just another stand up coaster. This one was short. 4laps.
Batman The Ride: 10/10 I love inverted coasters they are also my favorites. Love B&M. This one is short but fast and insane also a very smooth ride. 5laps.
Raging Bull: 10/10 Very fast ride, nice and smooth also the seats are very comfy ;). One of my favorite hypers.
I love Six Flags Great America one of my favorite Six Flags parks to visit. The one thing I would like to see them add for there next expantion would be a water park since they dont have one. They could put it out in the parking lot area since there lot is so huge. I'll probably be back next season let's hope the B&M flyer rumors come true ;).
Next Up: Six Flags St. Louis (2nd Visit), Adventureland (Tues: 1st visit).
