The wheel did not "roll down" the Midway. Do you honestly think that could even happen?

Yeah, because the back car comes off the track on roller coasters all the time....and the back goes faster than the front. ;)

Re: The Edge accident. I had always heard the car slid through the brakes and off the end of the track. So after this accident, I take it ALL of the freefalls were reworked with anti-rollback systems? I hope so anyway!

Riptide is going as well. Such a shame for the park to be losing ride after ride when there is a huge lack of non coaster rides.

Actually, Coasterkid is RIGHT. But he exaggerated it a little.

Though the Chaos wheel dropped off its arm, the wheel DID in fact FALL and ROLL about a foot or two
