Great Adventures Source posts aerial construction photos

Great Adventure Source has posted one last set of aerial photos before Six Flags Great Adventure opens on Friday. These sixteen photos show the progress that has been made on Kingda Ka and the Golden Kingdom. All four trains are on the storage tracks in the center of the circuit. One large crane was erected and in position at the spike, but no trains were doing any pull-through testing. Additional photos of the park including Chiller and Scream Machine's new coats of paint are also featured.

Scream Machine looks amazing! The station for Kingda Ka looks exactly like it did in the artwork. I'm impressed.
Viper is still there! I guess this is not its last season after all! Yes i get to ride it March 26th

The Elf, Viper IS missing from the park map, and ALL indications are that it has run its last lap...

In all honesty, doing away with Viper does count as "addition by subtraction", OUCH! ;)

Sounds like 2005 will be a SBNO season for Viper. :(
How often does Six Flags expand their parking lots. At the rate of building new roller coasters in the parking lot, they will eventually run out of room.

Looks like the trains have arrived, they're on the storage track. Looks like Green, Blue, Orange, and another color that I cannot see.

If it was open and there wasn't a line I'd hop on Viper for a lap. Oh wait that was last season. I guess not this season.
