GREAT ADVENTURE OPENING DAY!

Associated parks:
None

FIRST, THE CHILLER WAS CLOSED! It stalled on it's way up the Tophat so it wasn't open today.

Ok.... first we go to the park at about 11 o'clock and it was nearly empty. I'm not sure if it was there last year but they now have Preferred parking. It's $15 and the regular parking is still $10. I bought my season pass at the gate and ran straight to The Chiller hoping for a delay. The Batman train was between the Tophat and Zero-g so we knew it wasn't working. My friend was too chicken to go on Nitro first so we went on Batman first. Batman was a walk on but the front was about 10 mins and I didn’t feel like waiting. We took the 2nd row strapped in. Batman got new restraints and seat that are yellow and purple as always. Batman was running fast which was pretty cool. Next was Nitro, my friend was too scared so we went anyway. Nitro was a walk-on too! It was about a 3min wait for the Back and 15-20min wait for Front. We took the middle (3rd row) first and that was HOT! Nitro was kind of slow but it's been about 7-8 months so I was blown away. We went on Nitro again in the back, which was Amazing! I had tears in my eyes afterward. After Nitro we took a quick fall on Freefall. Freefall didn't change. I asked about 700 employees what happened and they didn't know. After Freefall we went on VIPER! Viper was smoother than it was before but it's still a little rough. I had my hands up during the entire ride, which made it great. The trains looked really new but the ride inspector said they aren't new. After Viper we went to Medusa. I was looking at Medusa as we walked over and noticed no one was really there, plus the trains were empty. When we got there this guy said the ride was closed for now and it would open when ever. I heard the same thing nitro closed on us last year and we left to ride something else. Nitro opened ten minutes later so I didn't leave Medusa. Medusa's problem was the first of the two final brakes locked up when the train ran over it. 6 mins later Medusa was open. There was a miniature version of "the running of the bull" at Cedar Point to Medusa but in the end we got Front! Front was AMAZING! I couldn't breath when I got off. After Medusa we decided to get our passes processed. That took an hour cause the line went from Dino Island to the Carousel. After our passes, I got a quick ride on The Twister. My dad had to go which was at about 3:30pm so we left. That was my Trip! It was Very fun but I have to say I was disappointed to see the Chiller closed again. I forgot to say The Spinmister was in pieces and Evolution was closed. G-force wasn't there yet and there weren't any signs of Thrillshot but it was on the map. Spaceship was closed and The Scream Machine was running one train. If I forgot anything I’ll post it later. I have to go Next week to try out The Chiller though.

Good report. One suggestion: paragraphs. Very hard to read without them.
