Does anyone have any idea if the rumor of Great Adventure getting a Hyper in 2001 is confirmed or not? I really hope so, it is my home park, and we can use a hyper.

While it is not confirmed, most people in the know(including First Drop magazine)seem to think it's only a matter of time before it's annouced. Rumored stats:
250ft tall
85 miles per hour
70 degree drop
Apollo's Chariot-like layout
Just rumors for now, but I hope that helps.
I'll be going to Great Adventure tomorrow. Over @ Screamscape.com people wrote in saying that they have seen some bulldozers behind Batman the Ride which might be used for clearing the land, and also a couple of cranes for building the new hyper. I'll let ya know when I get back if this is true or not.
