Great Adventure help!

What is the nearest hotel or atleast the best hotel near Six Flags Great Adventure....we can't seem to find one actually in Jackson, which seems a lil weird.

For that matter actually, What is SFGAdv's address, the closest thing I could find to an adress was what RCDB says which is route 537 or somthing like that.....

Help would be appreciated!

PS: We'd like a hotel with a shuttle as well, if possible!

Have you tried sixflags.com yet?

Check the nearest exits along the Jersey turnpike. Several of them even advertise that they are close to SFGAdv. There are also hotels along the shore, though they can be quite pricy in season. I don't remember there being anything real close, though I'm no expert. I don't even remember what the name was of the hotel I stayed in up there. Senility's a pain.

I think the hotel we stayed at was 15 miles away. I seem to remember that being about as close as you can get and stay with a decent "name" hotel (I could be mistaken)

Each Six Flags park has an "accomodations" link on their official site. Seems like a logical place to start, although the site is hanging for me right now.

EDIT - here's the link: http://www.sixflagslodging.com/

For future reference it may be easier to go right to the source than wait for an answer.

Why is that the closest hotel is actually about 10 minutes from the park.....(after looking further)

It seems Great Adventure is a big enough park to get atleast their own hotel within a mile or two, heck Sfwoa has a couple, lol.

Just Wonderin'

Nearest hotels are 10 to 15 minutes away. There really isn't much near SFGADV. I believe, but dont quote me, that some of the nearest hotels are in Freehold, NJ.

There are a couple of motels on 537, but seriously they look like they are for rent for an hour type deal. Your best bet is the sixflags website or try a vacation site for New Jersey.

You have to get of the highway aat exit 7A. Then you take the road for about 10 minutes and I think it is exit 13. I am really not sure about the second exit though.

Don't stay at the Budget Inn. The place looks like a dump.
It may not help very much but very few people know about the local GAdv. website .... http://www.sixflagsnewjersey.com/

This page contains a list of most (if not all) of the somewhat decent "partner" hotels for the park.

Enjoy your visit! :)

That would be a link to the exact page I gave the link for, RTneedsTLC.

I wonder how many domain names point to that?
