Greased lightning ...MIA?

Does anybody know if the greased lightning from PGA is still at SFMW, and if not where might it be.

On the topic of GA's greased lightings... over at Kentucky Kingdom does anyone know whats happening with quake that was taken out for tornado attraction?

It's all still there, the trains are kept away from the elements. Rumors that parts of it are being used for Zonga are not true. Some say a lot of the ride has been scrapped, but there were old Texas Tornado parts/walkways up next to it that were scrapped this season, some thought they were part of Greased Lightnin'.

Darn, I thought this was a thread on greased lightning going to michigans adventure.

One can dream I guess.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

If the below is indeed true, this may be the end of any hope that Tidal Wave (it will always be Tidal Wave to me!) will ever fly again:

Zonga's trains are alot different than the old school Anton trains, and have extremely restrictive shoulder harnesses. Can't see how they could use these on Mindbender, so it must be Tidal Wave's old train which is identical to Mindbender's trains.

Jomo would a shuttle loop train be able to pull off the curves of a standard ride? As I remember White Lightnin' at Carowinds trains did not look to be couple in a way that would permit left or right turns
Not sure myself, but if you compare these pics of the unattached cars, the old TW cars seem much closer to the original Mindbender cars and do seem to have room around the coupler to allow turns:

than the newer Zonga cars:

which would probably require too many mods to use (removing the harnesses, buying additional cars to make a full train) when the TW train is pretty much identical to Mindbenders (rides were built only 1yr apart).

He probably means the chassis was from Zonga. No doubt it's nearly identical. They didn't use all the trains/cars for that ride anyhow. The frame of the car is probably the same old Mindbender one.
Just so everyone knows, Greased Lightnin's trains are still at Marine World. Zonga still has all of its trains at the park too, so I'm not sure where they got the trains. Revolution?
Compare the Wheel Assemblies from the picture of those on mindbender's track with the renewed wheel assemblies on Revolution's Trains, they are one in the Same. Revolution uses the first type of renewed wheel assemblies, Tidal Wave and Mind Bender us the enclosed "wheel housing" type renewed wheel assemblies, and Zonga uses the New Generation Schwarzkopf wheel assemblies. Who knows what they may be up to, but would they really use the unused chassis from the Zonga trains on the Revolution wheel assemblies? Sounds Crazy No? But ya never know with Sick Flags!
