Greased Lightnin' @ PGA?
I was trying to find a picture of Greased Lightnin'. To my surprise, it wasn't listed on the Paramount's Great America's official site. Wonder what that means? Could it be taken out? Anyone have a clue? http://www.pgathrills.com

Chris, if you can, join us July 8th at PGA for the 25th anniversary of this ride. There will be lots to enjoy, and we'll be honoring it for the years it was known as Tidal Wave (1978-1998). You know its a big deal when I come all the way from Ohio for it! :) Not only is it still there, but it is running well. Too bad its been sandwiched by other rides.

It's actually not doing so good because it is braked after the launch and going backwards into the station. If you've ridden Monte, you'll see the difference. To much braking and you barely go up the back spike. This coaster was poorly maintained for years. I'm just happy that it finally got some TLC this year.
