The moonlight magic are hard to get in on. When we do our Disney vacation next year we are going to try to get in one of those at any of the parks.

Is it difficult to get a ticket because of the low amount offered or for some other reason? I didn't know that many people were flocking to this event to make it hard to buy a ticket.

I thought moonlight magic was a DVC only event. Is there also a non-DVC version? Maybe Disney After Hours, which looks like it only happens 6 or 7 times a year. From the reviews, it must be a very low number of tickets offered.

The non-DVC option is called “Disney after dark” and doesn’t seem nearly as exclusive.

A blogger I follow did a video of a DVC moonlight magic event, and it seems pretty amazing. The character interaction is on level with Disneyland. They are all out and about, and are not mobbed with people and will take the time to be playful.

Looks like a nice event.

I got the two confused but 'Disney After Dark' is what I meant. Regardless though you can pick either event and they both get you near nothing crowds. DVC Moonlight Magic does have extra in regards to entertainment as where After Dark is just the normal park with nothing added (at least not entertainment wise).

We are going to try to get in a moonlight magic events on one of our weeks vacation there next year. It seems pretty hard to get in to them, but we are pretty new to DVC.
