You've had a great year. From the Chaos that left you feeling so low in 2001, you ended 2002 with a brite new look at what the future may bring.
Let's hope the Cedar Fairies show up during your slumber so you may wake to an even brighter 2003.

Anyone who has been to the park this year should be giving Cedar Fair a tremendous amount of credit for what they were able to do to this park. Hats off to Cedar Fair for starting to transform this once dreary Michigan park to what it is now, and what it will become.
Also, let's hope the new train goes somewhere next year besides through the weeds....

Not next year Olympic...but soon. CF had to do their new coaster this year before us...we are kind of at the back of the line as far as the other parks go as well.
The train will travel in the near future...next year maybe, can't confirm.
Dreary? Well I guess a storm will do that to ya...there once, not so long ago(1998), were many trees in the park. Then in 1999 a storm came through and ripped them out. So let's just say CF was able to "fix" what mother nature doth hath taketh away. Call it pride, but this is my home park. There are still some people with some form or another of alligiance to the former owners.

Don’t get me wrong, I'm not bashing the former owners. It just that making the park look pretty was not a huge priority with the previous owners. I think it was a neat family run park before, but would always have been a family run park. Now this park has the potential to shine like a star. Western Michigan deserves something like this, and its great to see that this will be happening over the next few years.
Just my two cents...
