In that other discussion about RB i realized that that is what I crave: coasters with rage. The coasters that feel like the train is trying to rip the track apart, and the track is trying to rip the train apart. Here, in my mind, are the most ragin' coasters in my track record:
Raven (all of you SRM attendees must agree)
The Boss (the first drop sequence is almost scary)
The Beast (OMG. URC night last summer)
The Legend (and it will only get better)
SOB (no need to explain. the first helix.....jesus.)
notice that they are all woodies? also notice that those 5 are my 5 favs of all time.

You've finally found the perfect word for what I crave, too. I've never been able to describe it with just one word, and you've found it...RAGE!!! Of the coasters you mention, I've only ridden the Beast and its son...hopefully that will change soon!
I think that Villain also rages...to a certain degree, but not quite like the others youve mentioned. The tight turns and the low sections create this effect.
By the way, Ravenguy, what was so special about the Beast at URC last summer??? Did PKI have all the trim brakes shut off or something?

Coasters...the best natural buzz available.
Words can't explain it. It was just very hot that day, and the brakes were pretty loose too, and it was just.....words can't begin to describe. Probably the best night of my coaster life. I got about 8 rides, and they were ALL better than any other ride i had ever had on any other coaster.
