Ok, what's the best food at PKI? I tend to like the Skyline Chili dogs with cheese. Does PKI have anything better than that?
go to Wings Diner for the best ribs/chicken that you will ever have. Oh and ask for extra bbq sauce. Real good.

The LaRossa's (spelling?) pizza is my favorite there. I personally think that the regular pepperoni pizza from the shops in PKI are better than the LaRossa delivery places out in Cincinatti!

spoon!
I personaly don't care about food at amousement parks just as long as they have a good varities.
You know, i just realized that PKI has really, really good food.

Skyline Chili, (next to the dodgem across from Flight of fear), LaRosa's (Next to the beast, on International Street and in the Festhaus) and Montgoemry Inn Ribs (At the Wing's diner across from Whitewater Canyon) Are the best food places at PKI and in Cincinnati. However if you are going to go to Skyline just exit the park (hand stamped and parking validated at guest relations) and go up the street to the Skyline by the Beach waterpark. A LOT CHEAPER!!!
Good food? Where is it? I think it overall sucks. The pizza is like cardboard. The stuff they serve in the Festhaus (or whatever it's called) is the worst offender, saved only by the fact that they have beer there.
I do like the ice cream, if that counts for something.

The Potato Works fries over in Rivertown are pretty good though. (With cheese, of course!)
I tried the Rib sandwich at wings and I thought is was terrible. My wife and oldest daughter tried the ravioli. They had a bowl of sauce with one ravioli in it. My youngest daughter had the chicken and it was pretty good though. There's no way I'm gonna go up the street to save a buck on skyline chili.
And thanks for visiting to two worst restaurants at the park Jeff. My favorites are Wings, Potato Works, and that little place for burgers across from Vortex. And I actually like the pizza. They don't have to make good food at Festhaus, because they know people are going to eat inside anyway. You have to go to one of the specialty food stops(Wings, Skyline, etc.). Not the 'cafeteria'. Ha! ;) And they do have some of the best theme park food around, IMO. I could eat almost anything there. The fast food place in between Gemini and Mean Streak at CP sucked about as bad as Festhaus, I think.
KK: And an average visitor to the park is supposed to know which place is good and which isnt? Last time I checked the park guide for dining it didnt say "Festhaus: The food here sucks, but hey, it's inside and we have beer!"
Me and my fam ate there because they had the most diverse offerings and everyone could get what they wanted. I had a turkey sub which was bland. My mom had a burger that she didnt like. Dad and sis had pizza that made them head to the bathroom. And we all shared some chicken strips, which had to have been bathed in salt. That was my one bone to pick with the park.

Good food at PKI? Don't count on it.
Best bets are the fries at the Potato Works, and the fare at the Bier Garten. Skyline is decent at either the Lunch Basket or the Foot Long Express. LaRosa's Piazza is terrible no matter where you get it; food at Wings is pretty awful, and Stunt Crew Grill is no better: a bad boneless rib sandwich, a bad hamburger, a hot dog, or soggy food-service fries.
I find myself generally not eating at PKI. The worst thing about it is that their catering is actually pretty good.

I love there French Fries w/ Cheese smothered on it.

I don't know where you're getting at here(of course I know FH sucks), but that is still the most popular place to eat in the park for several reasons. 1)PKI always recommends large groups to eat here. 2)After finishing Action Zone, it's usually where most people are by lunchtime 3)If it's raining and time to eat, most people come here(or Wings if it's closer).
And when did I even come close that the average visitor would know anything about what's good or not? if I thought they knew, I wouldn't have responded.
The thing I said about Festhaus making bad food was just a joke between me and my friends that work at Festhaus about them making bad food, because they know people will eat it anyway(based on my three points above). That was a confusingly bad statement on my part. Sorry about that. :(

You said (I assume somewhat sarcastically) "And thanks for visiting to (sic) two worst restaurants at the park Jeff."
I'm saying that most people wouldnt expect them to sucks so bad. Like you said, it sounds like the bomb spot to eat (that's how we ended up there). If their *BIG* eatery sucks, what is there to make one think that anywhere else is better?

I meant that PKI has good food at reasonable prices compared to other parks. I think the food at PKI is as good as any opther corporate themer I have visited, except, of course, the busch parks.

At least the food at PKI in some way reflects the area around it with the skyline chili and la rosa's pizza, unlike most Six Flags parks which usually feature homogenized same old same old park food.

Yeah, I was being sarcastic about that one. And I definitely see your point. I don't think they try to make it bad or anything. I would call the food average, nothing special. I don't think my friends would eat there every time they go if it was
that bad.
The food at PKI kinda sucked compared to the fries at Kennywood, and the pizza...well...left something to be desired (go to Macaronies at CP). I guess I'm just used to CP's food.
