Good Customer Service at Six Flags?

I started regaining my confidence in SF.... until I visited SFMM over Spring Break.... and SFWoA last year....

ive only been to 3 Sf parks (SFWoA, SFDL, SFMM) and i always get good service at SFWoA & SFDL, and on my few visits to SFMM i also experienced very good service. Only on one account have i had bad service at SFWoA and that was when a worker put his name tag in his pocket because i was going to report him for letting his friends cut to the front of the train from the exit.

There were a lot of suits at SFA this weekend. That can influence things in a good way too. I know when ever the regional supervisor visited at my old job, we were on our best behavior.

The word "definitely" is definitely the most misspelled word on the buzz.

I've been to SFA, SFGAdv, and SFWOA. For the most part, SFA and SFGAdv has had fairly decent guest service. WOA on the other hand has made me mad every time I've gone.

The last time I went there I stood in line at for Guest Service window for 15 minuts. I complained about my first ride of the day being closed for 1 hour after the park opened and the ride attendant kept telling me that the ride was "just about to open". I was very calm when makeing my complaint and I do not think I was being unreasonable.

After telling the lady behind the window my entire story, she smiled a fake smile and said "Okay, Bie bie now".

I replied, "Aren't you goin to write that down or something?"

And she responded,"Nope. Bie bie now".

This happened durring the 2000 season. Visits before that one had problems as well but that was the absolute last time I visited that crummy park.

I had almost no problem with SFGAdv and SFA except the excessive ride closures. The employees were sometimes friendly or at least polite at both parks.

(I might add that I know how park guests should be treated. I have worked at a few parks and both of them have stressed the importance of guest service.)

I don't think customer service and six flags should ever be mentioned in the same sentence. In my experience they simply don't have any
Hymmmm... I'm assuming you've been to every Six Flags park? Well I have(at least the ones in the US), and let me tell you, they are NOT all the same.
dexter, you should have reported the CS person to higher up.

IMHO, when dealing with customer (guest) relations, they will respond to your complaint/issue/gripe/etc. in a same manner as you are speaking with them. If you go in there ranting and raving they will dismiss your complaint because you are considered being "unreasonable". Yet if you deal with the same rep, in a calm and "relaxed" manner, you will get a totally different response.

It goes back to the old adage, "Treat people how you want to be treated..."

As far as SF Customer service, I have been to quite a few SF parks and have had great experiences with everyone - with a small issue at SFStL (which was resolved nicely once I spoke with a supervisor - calmly).
