Goliath reopens following investigation by Cal/OSHA

Six Flags Magic Mountain reopened Goliath following the death of a woman who suffered an aneurysm during the ride. The state Division of Occupational Safety and Health said that the ride was not malfunctioning at the time of the victim's death.

It was just a coincidence that she had that happen to her on that ride.

My heart goes out to her and her family, friends. It's a shame but apparantely God was calling her home

Yeah.. it's very sad that these thigns happen, but on the bright side.. Markey won't be able to use this for his argument.. It was investigated by a government agency.. and being a liberal democrate.. that's as good as god's blessing..

That's one of the most intelligent things anybody has said about Rep. Markey in more than a week. He's been taking a lot of hits on CoasterBuzz, many of which are unwarranted. Disagree with the man if you like (I know I do...) but at least make sure you know what you're disagreeing with. Remember, he thinks he's doing a good an honorable thing. He deserves correction, but the incessant ridicule on these forums is getting out of hand.

I'm glad Goliath has reopened. There's nothing worse than an attraction sitting dormant for weeks/months or years as in the case of Drachen Fire.

When we get this "Hoosierland Park" Off the ground, I am considering buying that coaster!
