Goliath, the first new roller coaster of 2000, opened last week at Six Flags Magic Mountain. Several new photos taken at the media event can now be viewed on the Ultimate Rollercoaster.

I think I'll be wishing that I didn't live in Ohio for at least the next few months!

Maybe, I dont know, Jeff. Wonder if I dont agree with thinking that Goliath is this intense coaster, Im afraid that MM police will arrest me.
Coasterr have you ridden Goliath yet?
Hey eric, if you are from the west coast dont try rubbing it in about warm weather and on a more important note, the best coasters are """"NOT""""" from California.

While we take a great deal of ownership in our local coasters, particularly in Ohio, there really can't be enough, and it's not fair to judge coasters you haven't been on.
By the way... watch the language. This is a family site.

I've rode on Goliath and it was very intense. It's got my vote for being the best coaster I've ever been on. And I think California has some of the best coasters in the country.
You know, now that Cedar Fair owns Knott's Berry Farm (along with the spectacular Cedar Point), it's going to be interesting to see just how great California coasters get.
Is it just me or are those cars friggin ugly? :)
The cars on most hypers bite the bullet in my opinion, including MF.
The some of the best coasters ARE in California!
Yeah, Mr. the coasters in California suck. What about Goliath. Thats in California. I think its better than Magnum X-L 200.
