Goliath lift goes vertical at SIx Flags Holland

whoa, the summary got all messed up.

Some of those photos show wheels on the lifthill. Could this mean that Goliath is going to have a cable lift, and that the system is going to be used on smaller coasters

How come Six Flags Europe actually covers the construction on their sites when here in America, they don't even give us concept art or anything? The coaster looks great though.

The summary didn't get "messed up," I rewrote it. If I went with the summary submitted every summary would read exactly the same.

It does appear it'll use a cable lift, though the sled track doesn't appear to be installed at the bottom. On the top sections of the lift you can indeed see the dual I-beams there.

Expedition GeFore uses a cable lift, so yes, this technology will certainly be popping up on many Intamin's from now on.

Goliath has peaked as seen on this site. Now I need to convince my homepark to get one of these. :)

i was really suprised to see this pics of goliath on the net because like you said they normally don't cover the construction

but i found out that a lot of people have been e-mailing sixflags holland to ask if whe (themepark.nl) would get construction pics
apparently the said yes...

After the chain *issues* on the S:ROS twins, I'm not suprised that Intamin is going with cables.

I *think* I remember someone here actually witnessed the 1st issue @ SFA...;)
