Goliath Junior?

Does anyone know where this thing came from? On Coasterbuzz it says that Goliath Jr. came from Opryland as the Sharp Shooter
http://coasterbuzz.com/2003-29-859079.htm But at rcdb it says that it is actually the old Kidde coaster that operated at SFMM and was called Wile E. Coyote Coaster before it was removed and put into storage. http://rcdb.com/installationdetail749.htm Does any one know this coasters exact orgin? Thank :)

It's the old Wile E. Coyote coaster that the park dismantled and put into storage as the 1998 season rolled into play. The old supports were tossed, the ride was repainted, fixed up, and wala - Goliath Jr. was born. (or reborn, so to speak).
Just to the right (and above) Tweety bird's head is the picture of the Wile E. Coyote coaster when it was in operation (1988). www.themeparkbrochures.com/1988/sfmm1988_5.html

see the similarities? The only differences are the new car shells, color scheme, location, and new support beams.

Wow! Thanks for the info. I've been wonering about this coaster for a little while, I'm glad I finally know where it came from. It's always good to see a veteran Coaster make a come back, especially at the same park it was removed from :) Thanks again!

The Goliath Jr. operating manual says "Wile E. Coyote Coaster", which makes me think that the coaster was originally the Wile E. Coyote Coaster.

I have that brochure! It's one of the best ever made. "The black belt of roller coasters." That is easily the coolest slogan ever!
