golden ticket award points

how are they calculated?

When you rank your top 10, it goes like this.

First place gets 10 points. Second place gets 9 points. Third place gets 8 points and so on down the list.

Then, all the ballots that were received are simply added up. The coaster with the most points [obviously] wins.

who does the voting? Does amusement today pick out a certain amount of enthusiasts or what?

Amusement Today sends an equal number of ballots to "well traveled" people in the four regions of the country (NW, SW, NE, and SE). I *believe* they send some to Europe as well, but don't quote me.
