Going to SFGAm...

1) get to the park before it opens and start walking toward the mardi gras section. You will be stopped under a bridge until the park opens. Once they let you through go immediatly to Ragin' Cajun. Its close and there wont be a line. I suggest this becuase the line fils up quick and from what i've seen it is usually about a 2 hour wait for a very small unexiting ride.

2) After that I would go straight to Deja Vu. The line won't be too long yet and if your lucky enought o see it open you should get on it well you can.

3) make sure you hit all the coasters. Although Raging Bull is nowhere nearly as exciting as it use to be do to the trims, it is still a fun ride. Viper is definatly one of the best rides in the park. Demon IMO is boring but i've never been a fan of the corkscrew coaster designs of the 70's, but fortunatly the lines arn't to bad ever for this ride. American Eagle backwards is a must. it makes the ride 10x better and of course you have to hit Whizzer. Its definatly not an intense ride but it is fun.

Finally SFGAm will let you get in line for a coaster up to the minute it closes and they won't kick you out of line once the park closes. I suggest hitting as many coasters as you can and when you are down to about 5 min. getting in line for raging bull. It's nice to end the night on this ride. *** Edited 4/16/2005 8:16:25 PM UTC by MAGXL200***

Raging Bull is by far the worst hyper I've been on due to trims everywhere and B&M's signature "so smooth and forceless you could fall asleep" design.

I've heard people say that Raging Bull is forceless, but ever time I ride the back row on the first drop, my rear end is forced out of my seat. Are they riding the same ride as me? Also, some people think the ride was ruined by the trims on the third hill, but I'm pretty sure those trims were on in the first season, because of a miscalculation of speed. *** Edited 4/16/2005 8:52:00 PM UTC by ChiDan1972***

Please wait for the ride to come to a full and complete stop. Push down, then pull up on your lap bar. Thank and enjoy the rest of your day at CoasterBuzz.

RB had above average air on the first drop when I rode it in the back, but that was the extent of the air on that ride that I got, and I am not the biggest fan of first hill airtime. Usually you get better air later in the ride like the 3rd hills of S:RoS SFA and Maggie, the second hills of Mamba and Wild Thing, etc. First hill drops with great air in the back include S:RoS SFA, Gemini, MF, Tennessee Tornado, Legend, and Avalanche is pretty good too. RB's first drop is not nearly as good as any of them, and that is the best part of the ride. As for the trims, I was not there when the ride opened so I don't know if it ruined the ride. All I know is that everytime I saw track ahead that looked like it could produce some air, we hit a brake and there was no air.

Ragin' Cajun never had a 2 hour line last season. The longest was about 1 1/2 hours. A full queue is about 1 hour long. Why go to Cajun then to DejaVu? That is stupid. Just follow a path and stick to it. Don't jump all around the park, especially since this will be your first visit.

And beware that if it is late July or Early August when you visit, the Whizzer and Demon have montrous lines. There are tons of families with kids there because of Read to Succeed tickets.

Also, there isn't trims everywhere on Raging Bull. There are only 3, which only 2 of those are ever used.(The third is only seldomly used.) The one trim is so that the train doesn't go over the 2nd hill too fast and the other one is the MCBR. Don't listen to all these people putting the ride down. You need to ride it for yourself. It's a lot of fun. Those who say there is no airtime are always stuck riding in the middle rows. The back is the place to be. *** Edited 4/16/2005 9:57:54 PM UTC by DejaVu The Ride***

Stop looking at the ride!
I'd just like to chime in on Viper here... I agree, it's an amazing ride, definetly one you have to hit. Personally, though, it seems to me that over the last few years, it's been taking a while to really warm up. I've been less then satisfied with all my recent rides during or shortly after the A.M. I'd save it for the afternoon at least, maybe even dinner hour. Of coure, this is one of my favorite nigth rides, so I could be biased. It's true that this will give you a decent size line to conquer, but I think that'll happen no matter what (unless you're planning on hitting it first thing).

Oh, and the historian in me wants to note that Batman is a must, as it is the one B:TR that is not a clone. Doesn't make a bit of difference in ride quality, I know, but not everyone has ridden the world's first of anything, eh?

Good point (SF) Great American about B:TR. Not only is this the first B:TR, but its the first inverted coaster ever, so that should make it even better yet. Also if your at all a fan of B&M you'll enjoy Iron Wolf which was their first coaster.

The Only Thing Worst Then Dieing, Is Living And Having Nothing Worth Dieing For.
Though the Iron Wolf isn't the smoothest ride around... Just thought that I'd point that out. It isn't the roughest coaster that I've been on but it definintly isn't the smoothest either.
