Going to SFA, PKD!

Im taking a trip to visit my grandparents for July and August and wanted some info on these parks like when's the best time to go, what to ride first and stuff like that. I have already been to these parks but i went to SFA before it became six flags and went to PKD before H:XLC and Volcano. I'm have ridden FoF with the OTSR and cant wait to ride it w/o them. Has n-e-one been on it w/ the lap bars? How is it? All info is welcome.

As with any park it's usually better to visit on weekdays, although at least at SFA that's not always the case. Since it's new I would recommend riding Batwing first and then head to Superman, or flip the order. I would fit Joker's Jinx in there since it's on the way back & forth to Batwing & Superman. Next I would ride Roar and then head to Coyote Creek and ride Mind Eraser. Then I would head to Southwest Territory and ride Wild One & Two Face. Of course depending on the lines you may want to choose your own order. It's not that big of a park where it'll matter that much, and you'll most likely be able to get at least two laps on every coaster.

Thanx alot Intamin Fan. I would probably have to go on the weekend anyways cuz whoever would take me probably has to work during the week. But i will keep that order in mind.

You will absolutely fall in love with Flight Of Fear. It has climbed to my #3 at Kings Island, behind Vortex and The Bat. You can not imagine how one little change makes a ride experience completely out of this world. Well worth the drive alone.

And SFA....hope you are taking a whole day for that one. SROS is the perfect addition to Wild One and Roar. I'd go back just for those three. If only Python was still plunging guests head over heels instead of rusting in the field behind SROS....

FOF with the lap bars and added lighting is a completely new experience. You'll like it.
