Going to Paramounts Canadas Wonderland, any tips?

I am going to Nirgra falls for Labor day weekend with my family,and I wanted to hit Canda's wonderland which I will have to do on a sunday, or maybe monday, but most likely sunday since we need to be back by tuesday. I was looking at www.rcdb.com ,and they seemed to have alot of coasters there, and looks like it might be worth a 2hr drive from the falls? , I wanted to know if anyone has tips on this park? or knows it well enough to tell me if its worth the drive,and is it true American money is worth more in Canada? , I heard that like if somthing cost $2 in there money it may cost like say $1 here in the U.S?,and how are there lines? I know it looks alot like PKD, dose it have the huge tower with the waterfalls like pkd? ,and fianly is it 2hrs from Niagra falls or longer?,or maybe I should stay with U.S parks ,and go to SFDL? it has to be one or the other.(not enough time) Thanks...

It's a fine park, no tower with water falls, yes American money is worth more, I believe 2 bucks would get ya 2.25 in Canada. The Wild Beaste is an awesome woodie, as id Vortex an awesome suspended.

Wonderland is the second largest park in the Paramount chain. PCW is in the top 5 for seasonal park attendance(3M/season). Labour Day Weekend is one of the busiest weekends of the season. Labour Day Weekend is the annual Italian Festival at Wonderland. Toronto is the Largest Italain City outside of Italy.

Answers: We have an International Street anchored by Wonder Mountain... no tower. It cost approx 1.60 CDN to purchase $1.00 US dollar. Less than two hour from the Canadian falls... of course depending on traffic. Go to SFDL instead of PCW? Your call lets say that SFDL would fit in PCW parking lot. You can only ride S:ROS so many times.

Did you do a search on Google for "Paramount Canada's Wonderland". Because there is this little site called PCW Junkies that comes up second on the search.

It's been a few years, but PCW is an excellent park. Quite a bit of clones, but their flat ride selection (and waterpark if you're interested) is wonderful. Wonder Mountain has a giant waterfall on it, I'm not sure if they still have a high-dive show (1996???). Your American money is worth about C$1.57 per US$1. It'll be accepted at the park but you'll get better exchange rates elsewhere.

you will only get like 1.50 for your american dollar if you go to a bank. they may charge you to do so. if you go to the park, chances are they will give you 1.40 to the dollar and maybe even only 1.30 to the dollar. personally for quality i would go to d lake. superman can beat any 10 coasters at wonderland. but if you want count then go to wonderland. if you have already been on a superman then go to wonderland. most people tend to enjoy wonderland more then i do though. i only like vortex and drop zone. everything else is childs play. wonderland is like 10 years overdue for a big coaster.

I just recennty made a trip to Canada's Wonderland and Niagra. Yes. It is worth the drive. Probably the best place for U.S.A exchange is Casino Niagra. They will give you a $1.56 for every $1.00. Almost any casino has great rates. Head staight for Top Gun

The Bat (Vekoma Boomerang) get long lines. I would suggest using credit cards, since the Card companies will automatically charge you the proper exchange rate. Don't use ATM cards for admission.
