going to orlando for new years...

im going to orlando for new years and i was just wondering what the crowds will be like this year, i know that normally its the craziest time to go, but with everything going on in the world i need some help. any suggestions will help out a lot, thanks!
It's still going to be off the chain. With the THOUSANDS of people flocking down there from Tennesse and Michigan for the Citrus Bowl, there will be plenty of tourists around CityWalk/Pleasure Island. Dont know how many will actually go in the parks though...

BTW: to rollergatorwoodie and his co-horts; *WHEN* The Big Ten beats BOTH your SECs #s 1 (LSU) and 2 (Tenn), I dont want to hear S-H about "how great/hard/dominating" the SEC is!

lol, is this going to turn into another college football post like the dueling dragons and SFWOA one?
I'll be in orlando too.  I go every year and the crowds aren't bad.  Especially December 26 and Jan. 2nd.  I didn't have a wait over 30 minutes on Jan 2, 2000 at IOA.  It's really great.

That's good news to hear, because I will be there that week too.  I am probably going to go to IOA on December 26.  I also plan on hitting Busch Gardens and a Disney park on two other days that week as well.  Any suggestions for when I should hit those parks?
I'm gonna be at IOA on the 31st, BG on the 28th

Hey Jeremy,
Don't forget about the #3 SEC team (my fighting Gamecocks) taking on the OSU buckeyes in the Outback Bowl...  or did you forget about the waxing we gave them last year..
Hehe..

The first time at BGT is very cool.  I went for the first time this summer and I loved it.  That's why I'm going back.  The first time on Montu and Kumba are very exhilarating.  It's the second best feeling in the world.  We ALL know what the first is.

Unfortunatly, JazzLand will me closed New Years so I wont get to do there, but with all the fast-food-like daqurii joints around, I doubt I'll miss it :)

Anyway, I like the 'Cocks but wouldnt they be the SEC #4? (behind BCS bound Florida) In any case, they can catch an 'L' too. This ia a different Buckeye team...this one could acutally *beat* Michigan *in* Ann Arbor

Pleasure Island is a closed event on New Year's Eve.  $65 will get you in to see Cyndi Lauper and some other live bands.

Yeah, our Gators got rocked pretty good, couldn't control the line of scrimmage for S-H*.  After TN fell to LSU, I think it's pretty clear this conference is full of strength at the top...Poor Vols (can I get just one more round of Rocky Top...Geaux Tigers).  The MD game WILL be interesting, I'll be down in So. FL this weekend...MAY get a couple spins on DBH, hoping to make a debut trip to Old Town.  A friend works at Disney-MGM, I may end up on RnRC after all...can anyone recommend some good sound-reduction headphones...LOL!
