Going to C-buzz event? Pack a raincoat

I just checked weather.com, and they're predicting showers starting in the p.m. It's not going to be particularly warm either. So much for 74 degrees and sunny all day long.

Bummer...hope it doesn't cut into ERT. But I can deal with a little rain. High is still supposed to be 71.

It's just drizzly and chilly right now. The park was PACKED though - tons of buses and kids running around. Grabbed our passes and left. Talon actually had a line...

Also bailed on SFGAdv earlier today as it was pouring in Jackson. :(

It's been miserable in Maryland also today. Thank goodness I found a break in the weather to change my wiperblades. I don't think they would've made it much further.

Well, in the 2 hrs since I typed that last response it has totally cleared and there are clear blue skies as far as can see out the hotel room window. :)

The weather channel is saying exactly what Vater reported. Locally they're saying a little cooler (high 60's) with on and off showers come afternoon, but clearing up a bit by night with still a chance (but less) of showers after dark.

And man, I don't miss Allentown. :)

Just got back from the park myself. I rode all of the coasters after 6:00 without waiting anymore than 20 minutes including three rides on Hydra. Gonch was right, the park was packed with buses today. More buses in the parking lot than cars.

I hope you all have fun tomorrow, wish I could be there.

A day at the park is what you make it!

My daughter and I decided to stop by since the weather broke. Go there right around 8, just as the buses were leaving. No waits for anything - one train at the most. We decided to leave Hydra for tomorrow. Stopped to check it out a bit around 9 and it looked to run faster than the videos I've seen.

As longs as no buses roll in tomorrow, I'm betting on relatively light crowds.

See those of you attending tomorrow. :)

The guys at Accu-weather sound a bit more optimistic than the Weather Channel. They're calling for a 30-40 percent chance of showers in the late afternoon. So it doesn't sound like it should be anything steady or long lasting like we had today.
I could do what the nuns taught us in 5th grade. If you want nice weather, you're supposed to put a statue of Mary in the window facing outward. As I recall, it worked that time. As I also recall, we were taking our school trip to Dorney that time too. Hmmm, what goes around comes around.
