Going Past Geauga Lake (rides side)

Associated parks:
None

So technically this would be a trip report, because I did go stop and visit a park, even if I didn't ride anything.

I went around the old rides side of Geauga Lake, and made someinteresting discoveries. Raging Wolf Bobs, Big Dipper, Dino Island, TheSkyscraper, and Rip Cord are all still standing.

Where North Admin used to be, and the BRAND NEW building they builtlast season are completely demolished. The parking lot by the old mainentrance is completely covered with trash.

Here is a link to the video I made about the park:

You can't see anything in that video. The quality is horrible.

I'm not sure I understand the point of your post. The park is closed. We know and expect it to be trashed.

I for one am glad to see continuing footage of the park. Even if the result was less than perfect, it was a nice attempt.

She made a trip and she reported about it. What the hell is there to complain about?

I think the emotionality with which she reported the "BRAND NEW building they just built last season was demolished... "

It comes off as if this should be surprising to the reader. What would you expect to have done with buildings in a park that has been closed?

People are still interested in the park as it stands today. Granted it's not much, but when people grew up with the place you can't be supprised when they want to know what(if anythig) is left.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

My friend Kyle and I took a few photos of the park a little over a month ago...News Plus Notes posted a few of the photos along with our trip report. Heres the link:

I know I miss Geauga Lake very much! I went to the auction last summer. Wow what a emotional trip! I am glad that I had the chance to say good bye to a really great park! I know I have a ton of pictures from the auction and the demo of many parts of the park! I am glad I had the chance to enjoy a really great park!
