Wow imagine going over such a small radius circle and turning at the same time. In a way it would be like a thrust air, except your not going to be seeing the track directly in front of you when you go over!

Spell out Xcelerator. The only reason why I would say this is becuase there is actually another coaster called XLR8 at Six Flags Astroworld. (Its a suspended)
On topic, the community is notoriously strict, but I sure am glad this one got by. Standing out near those houses, you can hear a lot of noise from the park. But then again, the park was there when they moved in!
Then again, Xcelerator can't be any louder than Windjammer... And if you have ever heard California Screamin' it is a very quiet Intamin.
Just wait until Knotts gets that Superman: The Escape clone. That will show the neighbors who owns Buena Park.

No, the "scream shields" on Maliboomer at DCA are to keep the screaming riders quiet, so that the Disney hotels that are right next to the ride can get some peace and quiet.
I won't say that it rouins the ride, but it does take away from the experience....
Don't even use the words scream shield and xcelerator in the same sentence!! Besides, if it had scream shields, then it would probably need OTSRs as well. How depressing! :)
