GL taking a "Jab" at Coaster Enthusiasts?

Word - I actually prefer "the Beast" over "the Edge".

I noticed on the above post that alot of things are closed on sundays.... that's kind of a bummer. I may have to re-think my plans...

It's amazing sometimes, what people think they hear..

As for the events not being open on Sunday, it has to do with the fact that those attractions are all outside and it doesn't get dark till around 8pm, with an 8pm close, it makes sense.

However, you should know that this coming Sunday, and the last Sunday in October, Geauga Lake will be open till 10pm and hence, The Gauntlet, Fright Zone and Scary Oldies will all be open on Sunday at 8pm.

Something told me that Rob would come out of hiding to comment on this thread. ;)

i made it back to Geauga during Oktoberfest, and they had a display outside the gate billboarding the Halloween event. The display featured a news van with a skeleton reporter doing a (live?) stand-up.

I noticed that the van was filled with 3/4" video equipment, which seemed appropriate, given that 3/4" is a dead format.......

Yeah Dave, I enjoyed that during my visit to Geauga as well:).

I Only wish I would have had more time at the park, great fun, great rides, and fried cheese on a stick! Yum!
