Girls Stuck on Insanity May Sue Stratosphere

I thought "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas". I'm suing for false advertising!

I survived a Japanese typhoon and the Togo flat ride of death!!!!!!
Kids have the right to sue, why wouldn't they?

In regards to what the girls could win if they settled out of court, I think most of you are underestimating what they would get if they win. Now I don't want to get into whether or not they should sue or whether or not their case is solid. I want to examine the fact that they stand to get more money from a casino in this position than if this happened at a fair, amusement park or any other location where there are rides.

I've met and heard of a few people that suffered an injury or other misshap on the property of a casino and they received settlements far greater than if the same injury had occurred at a different type of business. The casinos have deep pockets and are willing to reach into them when the situation arises that requires them to do so. Not saying this is one, but it's something to keep in mind.

So in relation to this event. IF the girls win, and that's the key, a settlement from the casino I expect it to be more than comped rooms and rides, etc... I could see a large chunk of money (from the girls perspective and not the casinos) exchanging hands.

A few more legal things. The fact that the girls were out past curfew won't do anything to help the casino's side of the case. As much as it appears to be relevant, it isn't.

Also, don't forget the possibility that the Stratosphere could sue Interactive Rides if the programming is found to be unsafe.
