A girl was thrown from a roller coaster in the amusement park of the Galleries de la Capitale in the north end of Quebec City.

Read more from The CBC.

I'm guessing it's this coaster:

Your right. I'm curious about this coaster since I 've ridden it like 8 times in a row and did'nt feel unsafe but that was 5 or 6 years ago.
That really sucks. Atleast she will be ok. Not a good way to kick of 2005.
She was lightly injured its seems... Worst being a broken leg, from the news report here. When the train came back in the station, the lap bars were all closed and the park implied the accident happened cause she either:

1- Tried to switch cars during the ride!

2- Leaned back a lot to speak to her friends.

She's probably the luckiest person in the world now! She fell 20 feet through a plaster wall and landed on the steel mesh of the park bumper cars. She missed 2 steel beams that would have probably killed her...*** This post was edited by Absimilliard 1/11/2005 7:16:12 PM ***
