Girl dies at disney water park.

I just heard on the news here in detroit, that a young girl died at a disney waterpark today,(looked like tyfhoon lagoon(sp).

I only heard that the life guard saw the girl laying on the side of the pool and asked her if she was ok, and she responded "yes". Not too long after that she was dead.

My heart goes out to her family and friends.

I am looking for more info on this, and will post a link if I run across one.

Alright....this is oficially ridiculous. Why is the new trend to go die at a disney park? What is with this year and disney? I just don't get it.

Millions of people visit Disney every year, and therefore a handful of deaths are to be expected. Just because it's Disney doesn't mean that the laws of nature don't apply.

Disney is having one heck of a year. i think it has to do with the amount of guests that come in those parks per year. Other parks dont get that scrutinized. It is a severe case of something happening on the funnest place on earth. The only reason these get brought up is that it is at Disney. Hopefully it wont tarnish anything that goes on there.

The main thing here is other parks have reports on deaths, at least in northeast ohio we have. I remember the one girl dying of a heart attack on wildcat at cedar point a few years back, its an unfortunate event, but somehow it always seems that it looks like the park is at fault. No dont think im a total a hole for this but, you cant always blame the park. Damn the media.

But i pray for the family and hope that God watches out for em.

Another one for the "stuff happens" file, like the one at SFA's water park. When a kid stands up and collapses, it's probably no one's fault.

Still, a horrible thing for any parent to have to go through.
