Giraffe calves born at Six Flags Great Adventure

A giraffe born this year at Six Flags Great Adventure marks the third giraffe birth at the New Jersey attraction since last summer. The newest calf, a female named Xena, was born on Jan. 1, the park said.

That's a loooong drop.

If they could support more giraffes, they would have already had them.

Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"

Couldn't they have just done this in the parking lot?

The giraffes are too tall to fit under the solar panels.

But if they put solar panels on top of the giraffes, you don't need to cut down trees *and* they won't pose a threat to cars in the parking lot....plus, closer to the sun. Win-win, baby! ;~)

That wouldn't work, people will constantly be crashing into the giraffes' legs.
