Giga Coaster lift problem

Something I experience often on the Giga coasters I build on RCT2, is the lift hill cable gets stuck up on the hill. This generally happens after the ride has been open for a little while, and doesn't seem to have any precurser. The white cable attatchment will just be seen stopped on the lift somewhere, and the ride will no longer run. I have to close the ride, hit the construction button, and open the ride again to clear it up. Anybody have any idea how to avoid having this happen, or deal with it without having to close the ride? Thanks in advance for the help!

Its just a bug in the game it doesn't happen to often. So Put the game into pause mode, double click the red signal in the ride window to reset the ride, then reopen it, and put the game back into play mode. If you do it the other way where you go into construction mode and then reopen the ride you will encounter another bug which doesn't allow the elevator lift cable to respawn properly and crash your game.

What I think is even worse is when sometimes after a breakdown, if a train was caught on the lift during the breakdown, it will sometimes continue through the circuit traveling at 1 mph the entire way!

DBCP, That can be fixed if you station a Maintenance Guy at your Giga Coaster ride. Especially if its a 2 station ride. If it is a 2 station ride make sure you have one working the entry of the ride as this is where this bug is most likely to occur, also it gets your ride back online real fast in a breakdown such as train malfunction and Safety Cutout (the bug occurs in the Safety Cut out breakdown) without giving you the message that the ride has been broke down for too long. Doing this will reduce the frequency of this bug.

If you are getting this bug too much after you station the maintenance guys at the ride. Then I would shut down the ride for awhile or use a trainer to renew or reset the reliability of the ride. Also always have 10 minutes for inspection frequencies.

Could you specify what the "red signal in the ride window" is? It happened to me again, and I am trying to follow your instructions. Is that the flag that is green whem the ride is open and red when closed? Or is it the little red and green lights in the station of the ride? Thanks again for all the help!
It's the button that you click on to open/test/close the ride. Basically, what you should do is click the pause button, then click the close button on the ride twice (you'll see the trains disappear from the track after you click it the second time), reopen the ride, then click the pause button again. The trains will be reset and operating properly, and no one will leave the queue line.

This can happen on any tracked ride. It happens during safety cut-out on rides that have seperate load and unload. To stop it from happening, have an entrance and exit booth at the load platform.
