Ghostrider before it's Roofed Drop

I have been on Ghostrider one time, and that was after the roof was installed. My question is: Was the ride better before or after the roof, or is there no difference? I thought the roof was a unique aspect of the ride. I felt like a real minecar on the drop!

I rode it before the roof, and it immediately skyrocketed to the top of my woodie list.  From what I've heard, it's even BETTER...scary!

I have ridden it tons of times with and without the roof.  With the roof it is even better.  Now it feels like your gonna fly out and hit the roof.  Its even better at night now because it makes it even darker.

I ageee with SpongeBob, the roof makes it even better.  I love watching people yank their raised arms down as soon as the train starts to pick up speed down the first drop.

It may look ugly, but it does add to the thrill.  Try looking straight ahead into the roof instead down the drop.  Really cool.
