Getting to SFGam without a car

Does anyone know of a way of getting to SFGam without a car? I'll be coming from Chicago. Is there a train or something that can be taken from the city? I'd be willing to take a cab if it isn't too long of a distance.

Take the metra up to Waukegan, then take the Pace bus from Waukegan to SFGAm.

i've been using that method for 3 years now from oak park...

There's also a shuttle bus that leaves from the Rosemont EL station. It seems to be faster but the schedual is not as good. I'm planning on using it on Aug. 16.

Wow, I'm from Elmwood Park, can you explain this method more? Which train station, times, where the bus is etc...

I also believe that one of the Airport shuttle busses drops off and picks up at the Baymont Inn, right near the park.

Make sure you get the up to date bus and train schedules, and be prepared to run form the bus stop to the train on the return trip to Chicago. Sitting at the Waukegan Metra station waiting for the next train is no fun.
