Getting comfortable with the CB club site.
I dont know about any of you, but when I decide to get onto CB, I find myself going into the free access site. I will be sitting here for awhile and than realize after a few pop-ups that I am on the wrong site. UGHHH!!! I need to get used to this.

Sounds like many of you get heaps of pop-ups. For some reason I only get one or two per week. Wonder if it's anything to do with my location.
Yup, that's another reason why I haven't joined up yet, the other being unable to make use of the benefits.
Hehe Chi. I was afraid I'd do that too, so I deleted the shortcut to the free site even before I was officially cleared. :o) That was I stored the new shortcut, and BAM.. nice preeeeeeeety pictures of coasters instead of ads.. ahhh.

Actually location does have a lot to do with the ads you get, as they're "geo targeted." But hey, if you're "in," club.coasterbuzz.com is ad free for your enjoyment.

The odd thing for me is just logging in every time. Since I almost never post there was no need to log in except to update my track record. This may be the kick in the rear I needed to start posting more.
Is it possible to eliminate the need to log in every time on the Club site?? This is the only thing I've found to be an inconvience. Thanks Jeff for the subscription alternative. I hope it is wildly successful.

I know what you mean, Chitown. I changed my bookmarks so that I go automatically to club.cb, but now when I want to send a URL to a news article (for instance) to someone, I need to remember to change it to www.cb :)
A VERY minor hiccup, though, and one I'm already getting used to.

I love this site and decided to join the club. The interface is very user friendly and the information is vast!
I for some reason never get popups and I live around Chicago. Maybe its because of my internet service? I never really get any pop ups on AOL but when I go onto ATT @Home I get a few.

Yep. It also seems to make browsing and page display faster (doesn't have to load an ad off of a slower site)

I have never had a single pop-up add while veiwing coasterbuzz. So spending that $20 dollars to get rid of something i have never experienced doesnt make sense. But its a okay idea though. Maybe.
