Gerstauler Trains - New Lap Bars
I rode The Boss today during our annual employee kickoff party. The were sporting the new wider lap bars. Only one word comes to mind - incredible! They make the ride at least 10x more enjoyable. Hopefully all of Gerstauler's trains are refitted with the new lap bars. They make a world of difference.

All Gerstlauer trains are being retrofitted with a padded, wider, all around nicer "U" bar...not that I had a problem to begin with...

Yeah, I never had a problem with the old G trains either, but apparantly, a couple of my friends told me they actually liked the OLD ones better?! Is that possible? Kinda crazy, I'll find out when I ride Legend and Sisters May 11 and 12. I REALLY hope what you said is true about the Boss though, can't get enough of that ride.

I never had a problem with the old ones either, but could tell there would be a difference from the sample they had at IAAPA.
What I found terribly absurd was that editorial in First Drop about how all of the new CCI's last year with the Gerstaluers weren't worth riding and how Villain had no airtime. What? Talk about a coaster snob.

How can they talk about no airtime anymore? I thought the airtime was much better with the new lap bars.
