I have heard that this is one of the best woodies in the Six Flags chain. I know the airtime is supposed to be great. What else is special about this coaster and also, is it long?
To the best of my knowledge, the Georgia Cyclone is as close to a clone of the famous Coney Island Cyclone in New York as you can get. I won't go into great detail about it because everybody knows about the Coney Island Cyclone. I will tell you this, (and after riding it a hundred times I'm pretty much an expert on it), it is filled with air!!!!! Every turn is sharp and the drops are always filled with air (no matter how small). It is my number 2 wooden coaster of all time. Second behind the Rampage at Visionland.
