You know what? I was thinking the same thing, originally PKD was supposed to get what became Batwing but of course after the disaster that was Stealth opted to get HS:XLC instead,I was thinking that perhaps in 2004 or 2005 maybe that PKD might be willing to explore the possibility of adding a flyer from B&M to the park.
BGW would also make another fine choice to add a flyer,I can see it now: a flyer from B&M located on the former DF site themed to a dragon, after all dragons fly don't they & BGW would do a great job themeing the coaster as well.

Coaster Counter: 85+...I need to sit down and figure it out :)
yeah....a flyer would be cool at BGW...although im in the minority that really didnt think S:UF was all that great. i agree with Enigma's earlier post, after the pretzel loop the thing just died. and, i stress this, i did not think that the B&M version was any more comfortable than the Vekoma. flame me all you want, but i felt no difference at all. and given that, still prefer Batwing and XFlight to S:UF. bottomline though, regardless of what I or any other enthusiast things, a flyer at BGW or any park for that matter is gonna rake in the GP, and that means more money.

Ravenguy, I'll address the chest situation... (Have ridden X-Flight and S:UF, by the way.)
The Beemers have a rubber vest type harness that is used in addition to the more visible OTSR. If you kinda lean into the rubber vest before it locks (not much, but enough to allow breathing room) you will have a sensational ride with all the breathing room and freedom you care for. It locks about halfway through the loading process. They ask you to lean back and you can comply, but keep your neck forward a bit and that will keep it off you during the ride. Once the train raises into it's natural (for it anyway) position, the flying position... you're set. Hope that helps.

Getting a B&M will always beat out having to take a BM.

As for Superman becoming dull after the pretzel loop, I can see why people would think that, but I personlly don't agree. The ride gives some nice moments of "flying" after that loop -- they may not be exhilerating, but they ARE fun.
I agree Greg, but consider this.....SFoG's flyer was built on TERRAIN suited for that "flying feeling"....the ones in Joisey and Chitown are going on flat ground (unless there's some serious landscaping going on). All in all, S:UF was a great ride, and I'd love to have one closer...but I don't think that the sensation of flying will carry over to the same degree, over a parking lot....
bill, saying females WILL be happier with a sports bra on any flying coaster....;)...tip for the day....

Are you the guy that also likes Togos? I thought I was the only person in the world that enjoys both Vekomas and Togos!
I have been on both a Vekoma and a Zamperla flyer, and Vekoma was by far the better of the two. I didn't have any problem with Stealth's restraints, yet TFC's defined uncomfortable.

TOGO!
Vekoma!
hey PT300!! haha, i love meeting other pain loving coaster fans! :) i have only ridden two TOGO's, Shockwave at PKD (standup), and Viper at SFGadv (sitdown, hearline coaster)...i LOVE shockwave!! it was my first looping coaster back in 1988...didnt ride a sitdown looper till 1990 when i got on Loch Ness for the first time...now im not a HUGE fan of Viper, BUT...i do enjoy it. (ducks and covers)...yes it is rough, but the drop and the two inversions are definitely fun to me :) anyways...and yes, i have yet to ride a Vekoma that i didnt not enjoy...which includes 2 SLCs, two flyers, three boomerangs, two invertigos, Whirlwind at Knoebels, and the SFOG DejaVu.....every single one, i thoroughly enjoyed :)
Tim.....heres to being an openminded enthusiast ;) ....or a stupid one :)

Tim come on man what are you smoking?;) You rode Viper with me, how could you enjoy that monstrosity LOL.
I don't have a problem wih Vekomas other then SLC's which I simply abhore as they are the evil spawn of the Devil.
The Dutchman's layout is better then the B and M's but the B and M's have restraints that are infinitely better IMO.
So much more comfortable.
