A recent tour of Geauga Lake shows construction of Tidal Wave Bay, the relocated floating bridge, the former site of Mr. Hyde's Nasty Fall and general views as the park prepares for opening day.

The park looks great inside.
It's great to see that RWB is finally finished. The high turn was the only shuffle spot on it last year. It should be quite fun for 2006

I was wondering wath was Mr. Hyde's Nasty Fall. Was it a free fall or what. I did not have much iterest in Geauga Lake untill necently (mainly because I live on the west coast).

If anybody has any links to pics of Mr. Hyde's Nasty Fall please post them.

To answer your question HB it was a intamin freefall, which is like the one at six flags magic mountain forgive me, but i dont remember the name of it, but you can also check out pics of demon drop at cedar point and then youll get the idea. But it was called the edge and relocated to Geauga Lake and then torn down this year. It had a storied history as hurting riders as the edge and then not running alot at GL. So actually im more partial to them taking it out.
Thanks MagnunBarrel, I have been on a lot of Intimin free falls.

The one at Six Flags Magic Mountain is acully called it is called Free Fall. (I go on that ride every time after Ridlers Revenge) That shows how good Six Flags is at nameing their rides. 20 different Batman the Ride, 3 different Goliaths, ect... it is ridiculous.

Dig this.

Thanks!
Does anyone know what they will be putting on the land where Hyde once occupied??

Tim.

for this season it will be a grassy area probblay with benches or something as that area has been dubbed central park on the map.

now that might all change for 2007 as there are probblay plans in place for the old huricane hannas waterpark area and the entire 50's midway.

Any news on Villain's trick track? Is it still there?
